I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a long time.
Well, I went to the zoo class and one of my friends was there. His name is Zachary. He’s one of my best friends there.
The exhibit today was about snakes. The weird thing was when we were watching a snake eating a mouse there was one kid who really loved it and was saying, “Oh, god, that’s so beautiful” and he actually stayed there two minutes watching the snake gulp the little mouse. I did some funny little jokes, can you imagine being the mouse, and he smiled really big. I wish I was kidding. There was another kid a little similar but he wasn’t so obsessed with the snake’s eating. The first kid, who was literally obsessed with it, kind of creeped me out.
We had three challenges. We failed at the first one. Yes, I said failed, f-a-i-l-e-d. The second one we were pretty good at. The third one we were the best at. Who won the first and third round? The pink unicorn group, aka the girls. How come I feel like the Great Spirit is on their side? The first challenge you viewed the parts of snakes and had to say which snakes they belonged to. The second challenge you solved riddles and we won at those. The third challenge was a Q&A on snakes. One group actually said tongues instead of Jacobson’s Organ for what they smell with. We got the right ideas for how they were born but we didn’t get the names right. Basically the names were just plain weird and didn’t make sense. Like if you called the baby snake inside its mom Safety Dance.
