This is the second part of my first lesson. I found most of the faces were hard. I think the easiest part were the the very biggest faces in the middle. It was very fun! But it was hard!
These are drawings I did from a book because an animator named John Kricfalusi has a blog where he gives lessons and he says do all these drawings. I’m used to doing a whole lot of pen and it was hard for me to use the pencil so I used the pen on the face after drawing the form and guide lines with pencil.
Note from H.o.p.’s mom: He sketched these on several different sheets of paper and I pasted them onto one sheet in photoshop along with the one he scratched out. It would be easier if he drew in pencil and could erase but he has always drawn with a pen, never with a pencil and isn’t accustomed yet to the feel of a pencil.
