Welcome to H.o.p.'s primarily Hot Wheels pages that were HTML'd back in 2000 then taken down from the internet and now returned to the internet because he wants them on the internet and because the year 2000 is the age of dinosaurs in internet land a lot of the off-website links are going to be bad so expect that and get over it because H.o.p.'s mom isn't about to go through and see to those links

Since I'm too young to come to the computer right now, my mom will be managing my site for me. I have a small collection of Hot Wheels that my mom and dad are building up for me bit by bit because they bet that when I'm beyond the Fisher Price stage I'm going to have a bunch of fun with it. Plus, they happen to like little diecast cars so I'm a good excuse for them to buy a few now and then.

Anyway, my collection being so modest, and my parents being blithely, even wistfully immune to the art of the correct preservation of diecast cars and their associated accoutrements, I bet you're wondering why I have a website devoted to diecasts. And if you're wondering what we could possibly offer here that might be of any interest to collectors a thousand times more knowledgeable, experienced and savvy then us (we hunt at the local Kroger), well, not much except reviews of different models from a totally naive viewpoint. How about that? You can expect them to be absolutely uninformed and entirely tangential as my mom knows nothing about cars. Plus we have links so you can see the real live car on which the 1/64 is based. And my mom is also putting up original pics (well, scans she makes into more-than-scans and does pretty ok at it) of cars not blistered! And when she doesn't have a loose car, she has a link to a page with a photo elsewhere so you can look at the Hot Wheels while you read her review. As a must-do courtesy she's checked with these people to make sure it was OK and they nicely said yes, and every link will be credited and the page will come up in a new browser window and not be locked in a frame because this is a no frames site.

If you want to see an example before going on, this 1970 Barracuda right now is kind of my favorite car my mom's done so far.

The real deal is you don't even have to leave two cents in the hat for my mom's opinion. Not even one cent! Just visit The Hunger Site or The Rainforest Site instead!

Happy hunting and don't forget to sign my guest book!!
